Halloumi is a semi-hard, unripened cheese made from a mixture of goat’s and sheep’s milk, and sometimes cow’s milk. It has a high melting point, making it ideal for grilling or frying, and has a salty, savory flavor with a firm, rubbery texture.

Store refrigerated. Consume within 1 week of opening the packet. The left over cheese must always be stored completely immersed in clean drinking water in the refrigerator.

How to Enjoy

Halloumi is preserved in brine (salt water) which can make the cheese excessively salty. Our reccomendation is to rinse the cheese in drinking water to wash off the excess salt before consuming. Can be sliced and grilled and added to salads or eaten by itself.
